We run a waste-free facility, our shavings are sold or donated to local businesses, all our timber cut-off ends are sold to the public or donated to charities as firewood. Some past projects include a diversity ranging from luxury custom homes, restaurants, commercial buildings, seniors lodges, riding stables, schools and a luxury golf course club house.”
Mira Timber Frames has experienced tremendous growth year-over-year to farther building regions. As a specialty product manufacturer they are not attracting export markets that expanding, especially in northwest USA and Hawaii.
Gauthier explained to us why they chose to open their business in Stony Plain, “Stony Plain offered us the opportunity to expand our manufacturing facility at very competitive land rates. It’s proximity to major trucking routes makes distribution and acquisition of material easy.”
“We get tremendous support from the Town of Stony Plain. They are among our biggest cheerleaders.”
